Test yourself

The OPEN category applies for bands wishing to approach or verify their preparation within an international context such as the Flicorno d’Oro.

The groups registered in this category will have the opportunity to compare themselves with the parameters and evaluation system of Flicorno d’Oro performing in front of the international jury and obtaining a written assessment and the possibility of a private meeting where the performances will be deepened, discussed and compared with the jury.

The OPEN category requires the bands to perform two pieces of their own choice, based on an original score. No prizes are foreseen in this category.

The participation fee is € 400,00 for each participating band and doesn’t include the scores of the piece of own choice.

Application deadline is 30th NOVEMBER 2022.
Before this date one must:

  • register via the application form
  • pay the fee of € 400,00 by BANK TRANSFER to:

  • send per mail or post, artistic biography of the band and the artistic curriculum of the conductor

Until 31 th JANUARY 2023 the registration has to be completed with:

  • a photo of the band (possibly lined-up as for a concert) as an .jpg file;
  • 3 (three) original copies of the scores of the pieces of own choice The organizers will not be held responsible for photocopied scores. After the competition, two original scores will be returned to the bands, a copy will be kept by the organizers;
  • a stage plan of the band with number of chairs and music stands in each row (download the STAGE PLAN) (download the STAGE PLAN EXAMPLE).

Before 15st MARCH 2023 one must send:

  • online registration of each musician with personal data and the instrument played filling in the form you will receive per mail.
